MARKETING INTERN AT
OPRY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

During my time as the Marketing Intern at Opry Entertainment Group, I contributed to the dynamic world of entertainment marketing, working with iconic brands like the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Ole Red Restaurants, and Austin City Limits Live. I worked closely with a talented marketing team, taking part in a variety of projects that spanned social media, digital content, graphic design, and more. Throughout this experience, I gained valuable skills and insight into high-level campaign execution, event coverage, and brand strategy. From editing social media videos and designing advertisements for successful campaigns, to crafting targeted copy and trafficking out-of-home advertisements, my work supported the extensive and creative storytelling that Opry Entertainment is known for.

Designed Posters for The Opry celebrates '30 Years of Forrest Gump'
For the "30 Years of Forrest Gump" show at the Opry, I designed a cohesive set of promotional materials, including the show poster, announcer posters, and the show program cover. Drawing from the established branding for the event, I ensured that each piece maintained visual consistency while enhancing the iconic theme.
Opry Country Classics at Ryman Auditorium
These are advertisements I created for the Opry Country Classics show hosted at the Ryman Auditorium. I made several sizes/versions of these for email campaigns, social media, in-venue screens, and billboards. The designs aimed to engage audiences, drive attendance, and celebrate the origins of the Opry and country music at the Ryman.
Designed 'Stars, Stripes and Opry Nights' Merchandise Advertisements
These are the advertisements I designed for 'Stars, Stripes, and Opry Nights' merchandise, an Americana-themed collection from the Opry. These designs were featured across various platforms, including email campaigns, the e-commerce site, the Opry website, and in-venue signage. They all highlight the patriotic theme and various merchandise, maintaining a cohesive and inviting visual identity.
Category 10 Venue Screens
These are window screen designs I made for Category 10, the newest Opry Entertainment venue, Luke Combs' honky-tonk. These two large-scale screens were strategically placed outside the venue during its construction to generate anticipation and excitement among passersby. The designs reflected the energy of Luke Combs' brand, creating a buzz for the grand opening of this vibrant addition to Nashville's honky-tonk scene.
Copywriting for Various Brand's Summer Content Pieces
I wrote content pieces for 3 Opry Entertainment brands: Ole Red, the Grand Ole Opry, and Ryman Auditorium. Each piece highlights a curated list of summer events happening at these venues, complete with descriptions that capture the essence of each experience. The copy was tailored to reflect the unique style and voice of each brand—whether it was the lively, down-home charm of Ole Red, the storied tradition of the Opry, or the legendary atmosphere of the Ryman. These content pieces aimed to inform, excite, and draw audiences to the array of events offered throughout the summer.
Copywriting for promotional emails and newsletters
I wrote a collection of email campaigns for Opry and Ole Red. This includes the weekly "Opry Update" newsletter, which I crafted from June 11 to August 8, providing subscribers with engaging updates and highlights. Additionally, I wrote a special journey email for attendees of Lainey Wilson's Opry induction, following up the event with an offer for the exclusive show poster. For Ole Red, I developed an event promotion email for their Doghouse Parties and contributed to one of their monthly email newsletters. Each email was tailored to resonate with the brands' audiences, emphasizing storytelling and event engagement.
Social Media Content Creation at Events and Venues
During my time at Opry Entertainment Group, I helped with social media coverage at several events, including Opry shows and Spotify House during CMA Fest. I was responsible for capturing the energy and excitement of these events through visuals and real-time social media content. My work helped to engage fans, showcase behind-the-scenes moments, and drive buzz around these brands, all while maintaining the brands' distinctive voices and engaging their dedicated audiences. I also went to several venues to help create content that aligned with current social media trends to help the content stay relevant.
Edited Social Media Videos on Adobe Premiere
Throughout the course of the summer, I edited eight social media videos using Adobe Premiere. These videos were crafted to highlight artists at Opry events and performances, tailored to engage and excite the audience across various platforms. My work involved cutting, refining, and enhancing footage to create compelling, shareable content that resonated with followers, amplified brand messaging.
