For Issue 15 of the Talisman, I worked on three different stories for the magazine. The first story I worked on is called "Flora and Fauna". This story covered the biodiversity on and around WKU's campus and how it impacts the students and the world around us. I wanted my photos to not only capture those on campus who are working and advocating for biodiversity but to also capture some of the biodiversity we have on campus. For this project, I took photos of the Horticultural Club on campus and biology professor Dr. Keith Philips, who specializes in insect diversity. I also went to the Pollinator Garden on campus, which was made with the help of the Horticultural Club, and took photos of the various pollinators of the garden.
