Kathryn Klassen, now an alumna of Western Kentucky University, studied Chinese, international affairs, and Asian religions and cultures. Originally from a Los Angeles suburb in California, Klassen moved across the country to continue her study of Chinese at WKU, since it has one of the best Chinese language programs in the country.
